Å umulikoski Permit Granted - Ipswich Town News

New midfielder Velice Å umulikoski has has his work permit granted and looks set to make his Town debut at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Earlier today, the Macedonian signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Town with an option for a further season at the club's discretion.

Meanwhile, TWTD understands that Coventry have indeed revived their interest in Town striker Alan Lee, as rumoured earlier in the day.

The Irish striker was linked with the Sky Blues in the summer, but their financial situation meant that they were unable to make a bid.

Money is now less of a problem at the Ricoh Arena after former Manchester City defender Ray Ranson's recent takeover and Lee is believed to be more amenable to a switch to the East Midlands than he would be a move to Burnley, who made an enquiry last week.

Town have been linked with Coventry strikers Dele Adebola and Leon Best and a part-exchange deal involving one of those two would not be a surprise.

Meanwhile, midfielder Gavin Williams, left out of the squad last night, has been linked with Bristol City in addition to Plymouth Argyle, possibly as a result of Robins manager Gary Johnson having previously worked with the midfielder at Yeovil Town.
